2 Months & Counting (November Update)

It is hard to believe that I will be moving to Nicaragua in about two months! I wanted to take the chance to update you all on where I am in the process.

Support Update
I currently have $7500 in cash and pledges. I still need $9,400 in order to meet my support-raising goal. I cannot leave for Nicaragua until I have all of my support pledged. Please join my support team and help me return to Nicaragua in January. I am in need of both one-time and monthly donations. You can partner with me in this ministry by clicking the “Support Me!” link on the left side of this page or by mailing checks payable to Adventures in Missions (with my name in the memo) to this address:

Prayer Requests
1. Pray that God will provide all that I need to be able to return to Candelaria in January.
2. Pray that I will manage my time well to be able to do all that I need to do in preparation for Nicaragua while teaching school everyday.
3. Pray for the other missionaries that will also be coming to Nicaragua in January. There are four other young missionaries that will be starting the same time as I will.
4. Pray for the youth that they will continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord. Pray specifically that their relationships will be honoring to God. Recently most of the teenagers have been emailing me and asking for relationship advice.
5. Pray for Itzel and Kenia (pictured below), two of the girls from the Bible study and discipleship group, who are graduating from highschool at the end of this month.

News from New Song Mission

The most recent outreach through New Song Mission was a wheelchair distribution to the people of Chichigulpa, Chinandega, and Leon. The staff of New Song along with other organizations were able to give over 250 wheelchairs to those in need. Continue to pray for the work of New Song that is bringing hope to the people of Nicaragua.
