a village that stole my heart when I first visited there in August 2008. I will be working alongside an organization called New Song Mission discipling teenagers, teaching English, running a prayer ministry, and working with short-term mission teams.  Candelaria is a village full of broken families, extreme poverty, and gang violence. Through the love and grace of Christ, Candelaria is being transformed into a place abounding with God's glory! Abandoned and abused kids and teenagers are being adopted into the family of God. They are coming to know their identities as beloved children of God and, through their transformation, healing and restoration are coming to this village. I feel so blessed to be a part of what the Lord is doing in Candelaria! Please consider partnering with me and following along on this journey.
