This blog is long overdue...
In April we were blessed to have a World Race team ministering alongside of us. They did an amazing job of building relationships with, discipling, and comforting the youth here. They loved
the people of Candelaria and poured into and encouraged those of us who are serving here long-term. However, none of that is the subject of this blog...
One of my favorite parts of the month was our crazy, unpredictable adventure days! We took each Monday/Tuesday (which are always our days off at New Song) and turned them into adventure days. We enjoyed the beaches of Nicaragua, surfed down a volcano, ziplined through the rainforest canopy, and camped in a cave behind a waterfall. While every adventure day was unique, there were a few things we just came to expect:
* Having extremely dirty faces from our truck travel
* Bumping around on the craziest roads imaginable
* Singing loudly in the back of the truck "LOVE LOVE LOVE..."
* Being stranded on the side of the road at least once every trip
* Laughing hysterically
I have put together videos from two of our favorite adventure days. Check out our videos from zipling through the rainforest canopy and volcano surfing at Cerro Negro.
