I originally fell in love with Candelaria and the ministry at New Song as I fell in love with a group of punk teenagers. I loved walking with them as they learned how to walk with the Lord. It was beautifully glorious. And now I have the joy and privilege of falling in love with a whole new group of precious, punk teenagers.  

    During this past year, Cadence, Sandra, and I have had the joy of discipling an incredible group of youth. I love these teens! I love their joy, their ridiculousness, and their beautiful hearts. I love watching them become who they are. 

    Now we have Jeff here with us and he's committed to come back for at least two years. He has a heart to disciple these young guys and show them what it means to be a man of God and how to walk with integrity. He's a huge answer to prayer! I've been praying for years for the Lord to send a man here full-time to disciple our young guys. And I'm so thrilled to see that is finally happening. I think it will make a huge difference for these guys. 

    I love praying over Jose Alberto's heart as he sobs in the presence of God. I love seeing Rosita grasp the unconditional love of God and share it with authority. I love Elias and his hunger for God. I love that Keyla's big rebellion is sneaking out to come to Bible study. I love Raul's sweet spirit. I love Ariel and Kenneth acting so tough and cool, but still coming each week. I love watching them hear the Lord speak for the first time. I love who they are and who they are becoming. 

    Pray for our youth. Pray that they will know God in a deep and real way. Pray that they will be cycle breakers in their community.
